The 2019 Nobel Prize in Physics has been awarded with one half jointly to Michel Mayor and Didier Queloz “for the discovery of an exoplanet orbiting a solar-type star”. Michel Mayor is member of the Advisory Board of the NCCR PlanetS, Didier Queloz is member of the NCCR and chairman of the CHEOPS science team. Congratulations!
